Our regularly scheduled monthly July meeting would be this Tuesday, July 26. However, we finished most of the items on our agenda and no new items have come forward. Accordingly, let’s cancel our July meeting. If anyone has any burning issues, please contact WNA President Lynn Johnson.

As usual, we do not meet in August, so we’ll see you all in September.

Notice of Monthly Meeting Agenda
For Tuesday, June 28, 2016

To be held in the Playground if weather is nice; otherwise in the basement of 922 Westminster starting sharply at 7:00 p.m.

Come meet your neighbors and get involved in keeping your neighborhood clean, safe, and attractive. The scheduled items include:

• Speaker – Will be a spokesperson for Manna, Inc. who was awarded the contract to develop the lot on the south side of the 800 block of T St. (next to the old charter school).
• Playground Improvements– We’re still working with DGS to finish all items started in April. If weather permits, we will close the Playground on Thursday, June 30, to re-caulk some of the concrete around the water feature.
• More Playground Improvements – A number of Playground users have asked about getting a toilet installed as the need is apparent. DGS has agreed to consider a chemical toilet which would be a rather unobtrusive addition. We will discuss this (with photos) and vote on this during our meeting.
• Treasurer Report – We’re learning how to spend our money. Come hear what we’ve done and what our balances currently are.
